No sweat!\u00a0As a holistic therapist certified in hypnotherapy, I\u2019ve worked with many, many men and women to successfully <a href=\"http:\/\/californiapsychics.com\/articles\/Features\/1019\/Get_in_Shape.aspx\"><strong>transform weight<\/strong><\/a>, lifestyle, and self image with some of the following easy (and inexpensive) tips:<\/p>\n<p>1.\t First off \u2026 you never want to \u201close\u201d weight.  You want to release it.  To think loss for something means that at some point you want it back!  While you\u2019re at it, delete the word \u201cdiet\u201d from your brain.  Dieting is something temporary\u2014you want to stay healthy in the long term.<\/p>\n<p>2.\tEat only at the table, never at your desk, on the couch, in bed and NEVER while watching television.<\/p>\n<p>3.\tDrink cold water to tone the stomach and quench thirst.  Often, when we think we\u2019re hungry, we\u2019re actually only thirsty.  Drink a full glass of cold water before eating, waiting at least five minutes in between.<\/p>\n<p>4.\tUse small plates.  When we use small plates we limit portion sizes while giving our physical eyes the impression of a full plate.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>5.\tChew each bite at least thirty times while limiting conversation and distractions when eating.  This gives your brain more time to realize nourishment is being taken in while elevating awareness and appreciation of your food.<\/p>\n<p>6.\tGet rid of starched, nutrient empty noodles, rice, bread, and potatoes by substituting with whole grains and complex carbohydrates.<\/p>\n<p>7.\tYou can also increase protein intake to satiate hunger, increase energy and metabolism, and build muscle mass by snacking on healthy nuts or string cheese instead of chips and candy bars.<\/p>\n<p>8.\tNever shop while you\u2019re hungry and stick only to items you have placed on your list.<\/p>\n<p>9.\tKeep only positive reinforcements around the house and office.  Photos of you looking your best\u2014 healthy and smiling are much better reinforcements than piggy\u2019s and cows on the fridge door.<\/p>\n<p>10.\tLast but not least, keeping a food journal to log ALL of the food and beverage you consume in a day increases success rate by twenty percent or more on average, long term.<\/p>\n<p>That doesn&#8217;t seem too hard does it? Facing weight loss with\u00a0positivity\u00a0rather than dread will put you in a much better position to release it &#8230; forever. <a href=\"http:\/\/californiapsychics.com\/articles\/Features\/431\/5_Simple_Ways_To_Improve_Your_Health.aspx\"><strong>A change in lifestyle<\/strong><\/a> might be needed but you can take it one day at a time and enjoy the process while doing it.
