The first name on the headstone happened to be my son&#8217;s name. That night, I dreamt of waiting to talk to a &#8220;fortune teller&#8221; of some kind (I believe in their ability).\u00a0<\/i>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In the dream, I\u00a0pressed a button and a larger-than-life image of the Death card of the tarot appeared. It was an image of a skull illustrated with colors, but still, the Death card. Then the dream switched to my best friend&#8217;s soon-to-be ex-husband, who was buttoning his shirt. I&#8217;m in a car and he sees me and gives me a huge hug and won&#8217;t let go. He is crying. In waking life, I&#8217;m not emotionally close to him and think he&#8217;s stalling the divorce to keep from paying her anything. I am working two part-time jobs, wanting to move away from one and into another. I&#8217;m due for my annual review in one of them &#8211;\u00a0in the other I work as a freelance artist, which is moving slowly for me due to time constraints.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Xena in Massachusetts<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dear Xena,<\/p>\n<p>Your dream is about endings, as symbolized by the intriguing image of the Death card as well as your friend&#8217;s divorce. And yes, it was probably triggered by the funeral commercial, but that doesn&#8217;t mean it&#8217;s insignificant. Far from it!
