A very interesting article titled Can Science Explain Heaven?<\/strong><\/a><\/em> from Newsweek.com<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0touches on the idea of whether or not science will ever be able to explain heaven. Author Lisa Miller of\u00a0Heaven: Our Enduring Fascination With the Afterlife,<\/em> describes the theory of Andrew Newberg, associate professor in the radiology department at the University of Pennsylvania, who takes a closer look at the neurological activity of the brain once it begins to die.<\/p>\n

In short, scientists have been able to establish the protective, self-defense chemicals the brain releases as it begins to shut down — as a result, these chemical releases could be the cause of the consistent physical sensations (out-of-body sensation, tunnel vision, bright light, powerful amounts of contentment and inner peace) reported by those who have had near-death experiences. Just a theory, but questionable none the less!<\/p>\n

Psychic\u00a0Jacqueline ext. 9472<\/strong><\/a> describes part of her near-death experience<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>as\u00a0“… all of your senses are very much a part of\u00a0heaven<\/a>. You not only see the beautiful flowers, you actually hear the music they are singing. The flowers greet you, and you are a part of them — they are your brothers and sisters. The smells are so unbelievably and euphorically fragrant.”<\/p>\n
