{"id":145,"date":"2010-02-03T01:35:00","date_gmt":"2010-02-03T09:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/californiapsychics.us\/2010\/02\/a-spirit-crosses-over.html"},"modified":"2010-11-12T16:00:01","modified_gmt":"2010-11-13T00:00:01","slug":"a-spirit-crosses-over","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.californiapsychics.com\/blog\/uncategorized\/a-spirit-crosses-over.html","title":{"rendered":"A Spirit Crosses Over"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was not long after we moved into our <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.californiapsychics.com\/californiapsychicscom\/2010\/02\/a-haunted-house-comes-alive.html\">new house<\/a><\/strong> that my husband and I realized there was a ghost in our basement. They don\u2019t bother me, but my husband is scared of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.californiapsychics.com\/californiapsychicscom\/2010\/02\/a-ghost-saves-a-life.html\">ghosts<\/a><\/strong>. Sometimes when he would go downstairs, a man would talk to him. It seemed like he wanted to make friends with another guy. The basement had been nicely renovated and we figured out pretty quickly that this guy was the one who had done it \u2013 the downstairs had been his hangout.<\/p>\n<p>We sometimes used the recreation room in the basement as a spare room for guests. They were soon reporting that while sleeping down there, it seemed as though someone had walked through them. Because we did not have air conditioning, sometimes one or more of us would sleep down there on a hot summer night. Pretty soon, I was the only one who had the courage to do so. It didn\u2019t bother me when the ghost walked through me.<\/p>\n<p>Thinking back though, I think that I was a bit self-centered not to have considered that this guy needed help. One night, I had a bad dream about a family being hurt &#8212; I realized as soon as I awoke that it had to do with the ghost. I realized he needed help.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mentally and emotionally, I talked to him. In order to communicate with souls who have passed on, all we really have to do is think and feel in their direction and then listen to how we feel in response. It is possible to communicate in this way. I helped him to overcome his regret. When I could sense that he was feeling better I then imagined bright sunlight breaking through a cover of dark clouds above him. The bright sunlight formed a kind of ladder for him to climb up to return to the spiritual realms of pure divine love. I felt him go. After this, no one felt him anymore and he stopped talking to my husband in the basement, much to his relief.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of years went by. We gave a ride home to a teenage girl who was volunteering at our son\u2019s school. We passed our house and she remarked that she used to live in our neighborhood. She asked us if we knew that we lived in the &#8220;suicide house.&#8221; The man who had originally owned the house had committed suicide in the garage when his wife left him for another man. We had known nothing about this, but told her about the ghost. His regret about hurting his family had kept him earthbound until I was able to help him find release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Psychic Bridget helps a lost
