Dear Red,<\/span><\/p>\n

I am very confused. I’ve been with my fianc\u00e9e for about a year and a half. We love each other a lot. We say the same things at the same time — and it even seems as if he is constantly thinking what I’m thinking. But our lifestyles are different and we also fight – just as much as we love each other!<\/span><\/p>\n

Before we even met, we’d encountered the same people and had relationships (deep friendships) with them… It’s almost as if we’ve lived parallel lives — zigzagging but never crossing until now. And I love him like I have never loved before. But the arguing and shutting down is horrible. Two days go well and the rest of the week is a power struggle. I’m to the point that I believe love isn’t enough. <\/span><\/p>\n

Should I walk away — even if it means making the worse mistake of my life? It seems as if our lives have finally crossed… but perhaps a little too late.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sadly, sometimes the most powerful of loves make the worst relationships.<\/p>\n

You and your fianc\u00e9e have some serious karmic bonds between you. Unfortunately, I don’t know that the two of you can overcome the myriad of issues that are quite destructive to each of you.<\/p>\n

While love is most likely the strongest force in the Universe, sometimes it isn’t enough. Especially when the spirits of those in love seem to be constantly at war.<\/p>\n

You are right about the timing being off; but it presents to me as being too soon rather than too late. If you want to stick it out with your man for the next twenty or so years, things will eventually get to that place of harmony that you so hope for. Otherwise, making changes for a happier and less stressful existence does not fall into the category of “worst mistake”.<\/p>\n

Each of you will find others to love, so no worries there. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do for ourselves or for others is to let go.<\/p>\n
