A Degree in Psychics?

3210977-360x540 Thinking of changing careers for something a bit more… unusual? Well apparently you can get a Masters in The Beatles, Anime, Puppetry … or infinitely cooler — parapsychology.

If your dream has been to research psychic activity, life after death, ESP (the list goes on!) then the Masters in Parapsychology at Coventry University (England) might be for you! Some of the classes include studies of apparitions, reincarnation, or even possession.

Psychics, have any of you studied this subject?

For one who has no experience and also has no money to spend on current interests … Is there some place you suggest online which can give you pointers, techniques, or various methods of guidance to develop ones abilities further?
I know this much. It runs in my family, my Grandmother and Father can both feel when they are having difficulties or are stressed out. Even when miles away. They use to feel me, but I somehow block them. My Dad says he feels me from time to time, but its like I have a thick layer of armor on.
My personal experiences have been mostly lots of Deja Vu moments which come from my dreams. Cloudy unrealistic dreams which for a few moments become really clear, then those clear moments later on occur in real life. Or someone will say/do something and in my mind the knowledge of the outcome appears, I tuck it away as my wild imagination, and then what came to mind often becomes reality days later.
An ex-lover use to do tarot cards, and for some reason the cards did not like my questions. Either they were too trivial, or she was still in the process of learning and couldn’t decipher what they were saying. I use to pull a lot of major arcana, which she said was sorta a big deal.
Animals tend to like me, including the “non-social” pets of friends. But that just could be because I treat animals like people, and I treat people like I want to be treat.
Not sure if these are reasons enough to look into studying it.

    Dear Gina Rose,
As always, your advice is brilliant!
I have been teaching classes in divination and psychic development for more than 25 years and I have seen a spark in almost every one of my students. However, there are very few who have the tenacity and the ability to do what we do professionally.
I think it is very sad when people spend thousands of dollars on courses and books in hope of finding their inner strengths. Let’s face it, the best way to look for things that are lie sleeping inside is to look INSIDE! 😉 A good teacher can help develop these talents, but if those abilities aren’t there, no class or teacher or book can create them.
    Many blessings,

    Hi
Harvard has offered classes in a wide variety of areas in the paranormal field for years now.
I’ve taught intuitive awareness and intuitive developemental classes for 29 years now.
Verbena is correct that many psychics at CP have studied these subjects.
But I will say this….a college degree in these areas does NOT make up for natural ability, that natural ability has to be there to begin with….then, it can be enhanced. Everybody is psychic to some degree… BUT,not everybody has a strong enough natural psychic ability, or the aptitude become a sucessful professional psychic.
    Blessed Be )O(
