Psychic Parties: The New Ladies Night?

Say good-bye to Tupperware and sex toy parties ladies (well, maybe not so much to sex toy parties) but don’t be surprised if you’re invited to an all-ladies psychic party! According to herenb.com psychics and mediums are beginning to host parties in their homes. Groups of ladies are getting together throughout Moncton, New Brunswick much like any other type of estrogen filled night with wine glasses in hand only this time, they’re asking a psychic a question and skeptically awaiting responses.

The psychic featured in the article prefers to keep all questions aimed at the present rather than far-into-the-future predictions. Questions about passed loved ones, life paths,  and relationships are answered by a Clairvoyant who connects with her Guide (this particular Guide chooses to speak directly through her). Of course, there’s a healthy amount of skepticism from most who have attended such a party, but plenty are being consistently impressed with the accuracy of information.

Sounds fun doesn’t it? I would definitely attend a psychic party … would you?

Funny-i’d actually forgotten about this until i read this article…I was in a bookclub years ago and we read a book called “Friendly Shadows” by Keli Adams, where she explains her experience of discovering and developing her gifts.

When we finished the book, instead of having just your typical meeting to discuss it, Keli came and talked to us in person and read for several of us (all of the contact info was in the book). I hardly remember the evening (or my reading-dang), but feel that generally the atmosphere was one of respect and curiosity (versus “entertainment”), perhaps in particular because we all had very intimate knowledge of her experience.. Seeing as it was a book club, I doubt there was any drinking…

And funny also-i just pulled out the book to get the title and saw that she signed it for me-with a message. And it’s very prophetic–Gotta luv those psychics. Muhwaah! 🙂

One psychic party I did, years ago, before I worked here at CP, the hostess also had a lady who sold candles and bath products come and there were two parties going on at the same time -that was kinda interesting…I used to bring one of those cooking timers, so that there were mistakes on equal time. Sometimes folks would try to push for more time, and the hostess would have to resolve it. At least here at cp you get to recharge lol seriously

Now that is intriguing!! I have never been, the closest thing I did attend was at a company holiday party & the bartender happened to be a psychic. She was gracious enough to read us all! She hit on some very profound things that nobody in the room would have known.

This sounds like such a great idea. A woman who used to share office space in the same building as my studio hosts a winter party for her spa business every year, and along with showcasing her new products, she typically hires a Tarot reader, or a Clairvoyant. I actually got my first art job through the Clairvoyant who attended the first year, drawing caricatures outside her shop in the Ventura Harbor!

I thought if this idea many times and think it would be great fun as well as informative but my problem is finding a reputable psychic to attend and give the readings. How does someone find a psychic that we can trust? I sure wouldnt want to bring someone in that didnt know their stuff. Im sure you know what I mean. Any suggestions on where to find real psychics to do parties? Cause I dont think Ive ever seen a listing in the phone book, lol.

    Hi Justine, great article. 🙂
I used to do psychic parties, but not anymore. I am not against them. I just prefer one on one, now at this time in my life. But Gina Rose is correct. In Europe, even here in the USA, it stems way back with having tea leaf reading parties/that later transpired into tarot/psychometrey parties etc.. However, taking a course, on any tool, or, any psychic lesson can be almost like a party, as well. FYI

For any hostess who has a party with psychics, I would suggest to have a timer for each person in order for it to be fair, and everyone gets equal time.
    Cheers!

    Hi to All,

I did go to a really cool ASTROLOGY party one time, my friend, an astrologer was doing everybody’s natal chart and answering their questions…..people were amazed to see how closely they related to their charts as far as likes, dislikes, and personality traits.
The astrologer also did the younger childrens charts, that was there, to the delight of the Moms there.

But this was at a baby shower where no alcohol was bring served. And we all had a great time…..

I have been the reader at some birthday parties as well and didn’t like doing it. While I have been the reader for Halloween parties and at psychic fairs, I did not like the friend hosted parties at all. It’s just like Gina Rose said, the energies at these parties were pretty bad.

I remember the last time I actually read at a birthday party was in December of 2008. One of the, rather intoxicated, guests had such dirty and horrible energy that I got physically ill reading for him. I had to literally leave the party, go home and shower with sea salt to wash off his energy. I felt drained the entire next day. I am too much of an empath and sometimes wouldn’t even pick up how harshly certain energies affect me. This is an issue already as it is, but when alcohol or other substances are introduced to the mix, things start going bad for me, so I usually shun invites to be the party favor.

    Hi Justine,
These have been around forever……back in the late 1800’s and early 1900s , they were very popular in Great Britian and in the USA…….ladies would get together for a dinner party, and later on, to have seances with a medium present.

They are fun, I did a few some 25 yers ago….. I remember one party where I was the featured guest psychic at a ladies party , it was a birthday party for a friend of mine.
I did a couple more and honestly stopped doing them because of the drinking at some of those parties…..I would only consider doing them now IF there was no alcohol served.

    Hi Justine and Jai,
Another great sign of whats to come in this spiritual awakening time, people are seeking higher understand and are very excited about what psychics, mediums have to offer the information, even the approach, in the past is has almost been a taboo, now at this time it is being highly sought after, people are finding it very soothing and comforting knowing that they are receiving a message from the other side, people are trusting that.

Well Tupperware time to scoot over, psychics are in town….

    Blessings and Big Hugs!
