Keeping Your Life in Proper Order

When it comes to staying balanced and manifesting your dreams, it is important to know how to ground and stay that way. Here are very practical ways of understanding the concept and making it your daily practice. There are two different aspects with regard to grounding that are important to know:

Staying Physically Grounded

To ground means that your energy is equally balanced throughout your body; your chakra system is clear and open, with your root chakra connected from the base of your spine all the way to the core of the earth. When somebody is grounded in the body, they’re healthy-looking and filled with energy. Decisions are easier to make and there is less of a “scattered” feeling. In this state of mind, those that practice physical grounding are able to create what they desire in their lives. In order to physically ground, you must eat a healthy diet. Avoid processed foods, animal proteins if you can, overconsumption of alcohol, and practice mindfulness in relationship with your body. Feed your body what it asks for. Exercise is also important for releasing negative and stagnant energies. Deep practices such as Yoga, Qi-Gong and Tai Chi are less physically strenuous to practice, yet they deliver life-long results. Listen to your inner guidance to find the practice that best suits your lifestyle and begin to create a consistent schedule to see results. This is not only the foundation to grounding but a way to build a loving relationship with your body as well.

Staying Spiritually Grounded

A meditative or spiritual practice is the main component to staying grounded. The spirit is what navigates the body during the human experience. When we express our emotions, thoughts and feelings, these are actions of the spirit energy that resides in all of us. Understanding your higher self in relation to your physical presence is to be rooted in who you truly are. Knowing yourself in these intimate ways is the key to being “down to earth.” An important practice in being grounded is not compromising the things that you know your body, mind, and spirit need in relationships with others. Personal integrity in a relationship helps you to stay in control of your life while still enjoying the comforts of love. Setting boundaries is a great way to show your partner that you love yourself. Your partner will love you more, and have deeper respect for who you are when you both are rooted in agreements that have been set from a place of deepened awareness. You both have a better chance at being successful individuals as well as a successful couple.

When you become aware of yourself and you love what you discover, you open yourself to universal love. Take time to give yourself affirmations, prayer time, or whatever spiritual practice you believe in that means something significant to you. Always remember that your truth is an individual process and there is no wrong way in loving and knowing who you are.

    Hi there Hunter and Gina Rose,

    That was a very interesting article. I’ve been told by a psychic that I was a spiritual medium as well and I just needed to learn how to tap into it. Will meditation bring that out. I just thought I was very intuitive until she told me that. I am really interested in trying to develop my psychic abilities. I would appreciate any help you could give me.

    Yes there is a great on the go simple meditation that one can do while standing in the line at the grocery store or sitting at the doctors office or in bad traffic:

    imagine open doorways at the crown chakra and the earth star chakras (at the bottom of each foot between the big toe and the second toe). connect to the higher energies of your guides and ascended masters and allow the light and love to pour into your crown and balance your body, mind, and spirit. While the golden light nectar is flowing through you, visualize the dark “grey matter” of misconception, delusion and fear going out the bottom of your feet and being transmuted by Mother Earth’s core. Then, feel that pure energy of life force harnessing you to your Divine space that you are creating with your body in the physical plane. Silently recite to yourself “I establish my Divine Presence here on Earth.”

    Great article! Not sure if you will see this, but I wondered if you had any advice for people on-the-go, in the way of grounding practices that can be done with only small blocks of available time?

    Setting time aside for ourselves is one of the most important things in life that we often push aside due to obligations, or perceived thereof, with those closest to us in our daily lives. Being our best selves is the most precious valuable gift we can share with those in life. =)
