And We’re Laughing

It is all about the laughter. I still continue to be a constant source of amusement to my wife and my friends. As I have said in previous articles, laughter is the highest vibration and you can break any negative mood by choosing to laugh. Laughter has the best seats and the most comfortable surroundings of anything you can choose to travel in. It’s a ‘first class all the way’ kind of ride and who could deny that? Remember though, that this is a choice, and it is you that has to make it.

Studies have been done on laughter, and here are some of the results:

It can protect against heart attacks

It can relieve stress greatly

It can boost the immune system

It can exercise the muscles

It increases your creativity

It helps the decision making process

The only downside to laughter is that it can be wasted on people with little or no sense of humor. Remember that whatever you do or feel, travels from you to others in an invisible wave form. So you ultimately decide how you want to affect other people. It may also be reflected to you, such are the nature of waves. Here is a good top ten list of activities to help you choose laughter and fine tune your sense of humor …

Smile for no reason more often

Spend time with happy people

Learn more funny stories

Use humor in your speech when appropriate

Watch humorous movies

Laugh at your own expense

Do something silly once in awhile

Spend some time with children

Take less things personally

Use your imagination

Laughter is the best medicine and I’m sure many would agree. Keep the jokes rolling, the good times coming and the laughter laughing. I hope these tips and facts will add some lightness to your life.

I separated from my husband Easter, of this year. I am being treated for being bi-polar, but my sense of humor keeps everybody I talk to either shaking their heads laughing, or just plain laughing. It is outrageous, and I find myself now with no income, no car, living in a small community in the country. Joy and humor can be found wherever you look, in the very worst of circumstances,-. Change what you can, but look, and there are always things to crack up about. Hide yourself in the misery and mundane, and just don’t be happy. It makes for a miserable life. To heck with it! It is just an outlook that can bring happiness in whatever you do, or are going through. Also a habit of holding your chin up, literally also makes it harder to feel down. Chin up, SMILE, and let ‘er rip! God Bless!

    Hi Everyone!

I agree with you all & it amazes me when you are in the workplace being told not to laugh!! I am of course speaking about my own personal situation at work. It just boggled my mind sometimes! Talk about oppression!

Hern thank you for listing the benefits associated!

Gina Rose! You are just so silly, I love it! I love silly people because I am one myself! 🙂

Balance & belly laughs to all! 🙂

    Hi Hern,

So when are you going to write more great past life regression articles…..huh,huh,huh ??????

My brother Sean is so silly……I swear when they wrote the show Two and a Half Men they followed my brother around for material on the character that Charlie Sheen plays.
My brother, Sean, has the ability to make even total strangers standing in a checkout line laugh! He really should have been a stand-up comic.

Great article! I love to laugh. I love that scene in the movie, “Mary Poppins,” where they all laugh so hard they rise to the ceiling, singing, “I love to laugh.” One of my things I have done for many decades, is, I always rent a silly movie at least 3xs per month. I was watching Howie Mendel on a talk show late last night, he started to do his Gremlins voice lol -some of my all time fav’s are Carol Burnett, Mel Brooks, Peter Sellers, Woody Allen and Steve Martin. But finding humor in your own life is a key to more fun and happiness. Cheers,
    Miss Krystal

And the best way to do it offcourse is to make yourself the subject of the joke. The rewards are two fold. I find it to be a very humbling experience……. and it also helps bring down the glass walls. Thanks for all the good articles Mr. Hern. Blessings 🙂
