A Quest For Love

Traveling to find the one

People who are focused on a search for love know that it may not come knocking at their front door. Nor does it always exist within the same old circles of daily life, work and friends. Putting yourself out there in a search of an everlasting connection may mean making an effort beyond switching up grocery stores, or trying a new after-work drink spot.

"I've often seen it in the cards where people actually need to go out on a quest for love as part of their life's adventure," tells Clairvoyant and Empath Jeannie ext. 9891. She told her twice divorced client Tia (not her real name) during her first reading that she would have to take a journey to find true love

"Seriously?" the self-described 35 year-old workaholic asked Jeannie. After two failed marriages and several subsequent dating disasters, the custom coffee shop owner admitted that she had spent the last several years married to her work. "I've always believed in love finding me," she told the psychic, "but I also feel kind of doomed. Are you saying that there's really a chance I might find the right guy, someday?"

"Do you have a vacation planned? Because geographically, he's a very long way from your home," Jeannie revealed. She also saw that travel was easily within Tia's financial realm.

"I haven't left Wisconsin since my honeymoon with my last ex-husband," she offered humorously, trying to separate herself from the pain Jeannie heard in her voice. "Interesting… lately everyone's been telling me to take some time away for myself."

Jeannie saw that Tia could easily afford a four or five star resort and suggested that she spoil herself a bit wherever she went. "I know that you've got to get out of the house to meet someone. It won't happen in your everyday life!"

Later the same week, Tia called Jeannie back, excited that she had decided to take time off during the upcoming month. She had researched travel magazines for ideas and narrowed down her vacation options to four hotels with a golf course and a spa. "Can you help me make a final decision?"

Jeannie was happy to hear from Tia that two of her choices included serene spots in Hawaii, as the psychic kept hearing "Happy in Hawaii" during a candle meditation she had done the night before in anticipation of her client's call. Jeannie wrote down the name of each of the hotels and found herself circling a resort on one of the larger islands. "And… I just love what happened next," Jeannie tells enthusiastically. "I'm so envious - it's just so romantic!"

Just after Tia arrived at her hotel, she walked out onto the terrace to have a drink overlooking the grounds. She noticed an attractive man talking on the phone sitting in his golf cart. He looked up at her and winked. Later he asked if he could buy her a drink and they ended up talking for hours. Alec had family in Wisconsin and was one of the hotel's owners. Tia and Alec played golf, went fishing and had dinner together every evening while she was there. Tia had insisted on seeing him on a "friendship only" basis, which Alec accepted. Before she left, he asked if he could visit her in Wisconsin and take her to dinner.

"I told him that if he really wanted to do that… I would be delighted."

Tia had called to ask Jeannie, "What she saw for them?"

The Tarot and the runes confirmed that Alec had been crushed when his fiancée had broken their long engagement nearly two years ago. Even though he was several years younger than Tia, Alec was ready for the same traditional family centered lifestyle that she was looking for. After months of what proved to be a surprisingly easy long-distance relationship and an intense sexual connection, Alec asked Tia to come back to Hawaii to celebrate his 30th birthday with him. The evening she arrived he brought two drinks out to the terrace where they had first gotten to know one another.

"I'd like to make a toast," Alec announced to Tia. "But please look into your glass and tell me what you think first." He handed her a flute of champagne. A diamond ring appeared to be bouncing among the bubbles. "I was shocked! But I found myself saying, yes and sobbing. By the time Alec fished the ring out and got down on one knee, we were both crying."

"How do you get all this stuff from the cards?" Tia asked Jeannie. "If you hadn't suggested that I travel, none of this would have happened. There was such a great connection between us that I just trusted the idea that I needed to take a vacation. I'll never forget what you've done for me and I know I will be happy in Hawaii."

"I love happy endings like this," Jeannie says getting emotional about the good feelings she gets from her work. "I've been a teacher and a family counselor, but I feel I help people the most when I do love readings," the psychic bubbled happily.
