"What we focus on grows, and there is no way that peace can grow with the focus on how to fight a bigger and better war. "
"The way to attain peace on earth is not to fight the world but to embrace the world the way it is now and then to bestow peace in whatever ways we can: educate (our children) and the public through peaceful activism… help a stranger stranded on the side of the road… and forgive every one who crosses your path," adds Debra ext. 9596.
"There have been very few days in recorded history with no current war somewhere," Ron ext. 9545 points out. "Wars will rage, people will carry hatred and bear grudges, but that has never stopped most of the peace lovers from living peaceful lives. They are driven by a desire to live life more fully. That is the major step to finding peace in your own life."
"I see better times ahead for the U.S., but we must avail ourselves of the opportunity. This is a time of great change. The U.S. is now suffering the ills of its greed and arrogance and of this false credit based culture. We face difficult times ahead it is true… but if we remain centered, cheerful, always turning to the source and stand firm for all that is good, we'll make it through," Debra believes. "It is in these times that each of us needs to have the strength to rise to our full potential."
Conflict breeds calm
Many of our psychics see conflict as a motivating source for growth and resolution in our country, as well as the world. "Because of the free will aspect we all possess, we will never all agree… " reveals Ami ext. 9522. "Good cannot exist without evil. We would have no perspective if goodness was all we could see and experience. It is the presence of war and strife that makes us work toward calm and peace. Conflict is the reason for growth and resolution."
"Each of us needs to hold on to faith in the future," Ron suggests. "Have faith in our own creative ability to overcome yet another chapter in the universal plan. I believe we will."
And finally, Meryl threw out her Tarot cards for help in responding to our question. "There is a downfall for men who have been narrow minded (The Tower card). Mistakes were made and people are sad (3 of Swords).There will be a brave person (Knight of Swords) who will clear away old failed ideas. There will be success and victory (Strength card). There will be more financial success in the future (Ace of Coins)."
In the meantime, you can do your part to promote peace on earth by living a peaceful life. Start by resolving any conflicts or anger in your own soul. Lead by example, which will pass a message of peace on to the next generation. As Dr. Martin Luther King so eloquently pointed out, "Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal."
